Dr. Vikas Purohit is an accomplished medical professional with an MBBS degree from the prestigious Grant Medical College, Mumbai. As a batch topper during his MBBS, he received multiple scholarships in recognition of his academic excellence. He further pursued DM in Cardiology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, and the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre, Ahmedabad.
Dr. Purohit has had the privilege of training under several world-renowned cardiologists, including Dr. V.K. Bahl, Dr. S.S. Kothari, Dr. Anita Saxena, Dr. K.C. Goswami, Dr. G. Karthikeyan, Dr. Ramakrishna, Dr. Nitish Naik, Dr. Rakesh Yadav, Dr. Ambuj Roy, Dr. Sandeep Singh, Dr. Sandeep Seth, and Dr. Sundeep Mishra. His areas of expertise include interventional cardiology and structural interventions, and he has a strong inclination toward medical research.
With over six years of post-DM experience in interventional cardiology, Dr. Purohit has performed more than 6,000 cath lab interventions, including coronary angiograms, primary and elective PTCAs, BMV, BPV, PDA device closures, peripheral interventions, as well as single and dual chamber pacemakers and AICDs. He is committed to continuously enhancing his clinical acumen and interventional skills while striving to provide cost-effective and accessible healthcare for all.
